The "softer side of shooting" has been the fastest growing segment of the industry for quite a few years now. Shooting for Women Alliance understands what women want and has put together an eStore, SFWA PRO, to help women worldwide discover and purchase the products that truly are made for a woman.
Manufacturers have been introducing into their product lines all kinds of things supposedly designed to meet the criteria of "what women want"--some have succeeded and some have fallen short. So, how do you know the difference? Believe me, ladies know the difference by how the products feels, fits, and functions when used by the "softer side of shooting" society. Pink is not the answer, it is the product's performance that makes ladies happy. And, for those of us who like pink . . . if it performs and is pink, well that just makes it perfect!
When SFWA exhibits at the SHOT Show, the industry's leading convention, we are approached by numerous manufacturers asking us "What Women Want" and whether or not the product(s) they offer will satisfy the criteria.
Many think that if it is "pink" it will sell and that "pink" is what women want. Fact is, ladies, you know that is not the case--even if you think pink!
